Peta-Anne Barrow is a member of the Privacy & Cybersecurity Group and a member of the Labor & Employment Law Department.

Peta-Anne has extensive labor and employment law experience in the UK and internationally. Contentious work includes Employment Tribunal claims such as unfair dismissal and unlawful discrimination and High Court proceedings such as the enforcement of restrictive covenants and bonus disputes. Non-contentious work includes Board level reorganisations and executive terminations, drafting senior level employment contracts and bonus plans, advising on redundancies and restructurings and dealing with the employment aspects of corporate transactions such as acquisitions, outsourcings and takeovers, often cross-border. She has been involved in the employment aspects of various large transactions.

As a member of the International Privacy & Cybersecurity Group, a part of her practice is focused on international data privacy issues. She regularly works with multi-country data privacy and security projects in Global Human Resources Information Systems and assists clients with complying with the EU Data Protection Directive, the UK Data Protection Act, cross border transfers of personal data and has substantial experience in drafting model contractual clauses to comply with EU law. Peta-Anne also speaks regularly on international data privacy and security matters at in-house and external conferences.
